Lecture
The aim of the lecture “Management of Engineering Design” is to give students an overview of important methods and tools from the field of engineering design that are currently highly relevant and used in industry. The scope ranges from the consideration of complex systems to project approaches such as lean and agile development to the questions of how cross-functional cooperation can be achieved and how current topics such as sustainability can be incorporated into product development. The lecture contents are explained using many practical examples.
