Operating state-dependent modeling of the electrical impedance of cylindrical roller bearings for sensory utilization, taking into account mixed friction
As previous research in this field has shown, there is a correlation between the electrical impedance of roller bearings and the operating conditions under which the bearings are used. These conditions are suitable for making the bearings usable for sensor applications. In the past, models for calculating the impedance of ball bearings have been developed.
My research topic is the DFG-project "Operating state-dependent modeling of the electrical impedance of cylindrical roller bearings for sensory utilization, taking into account mixed friction“. The aim of the research project is to develop models that describe the electrical properties of cylindrical roller bearings in the area of hydrodynamic friction. In addition, models are to be developed that describe the electrical properties of cylindrical roller bearings in the area of mixed friction. The models should dispense with correction factors and be based on physical laws.
