Additive manufacturing with LPBF (Laser Powder Bed Fusion) systems offers a wide range of options for the targeted control of the microstructure and functional properties of components. Through precise manufacturing, individual components with complex geometries can be created, which are particularly important for industries such as medical technology. This technology makes it possible to meet the requirements that apply there with customized solutions. The systematic investigation of the applicable process and environmental parameters as well as their interrelationships provide the necessary basis for optimizing this application potential.
