The additive manufacturing of functional materials such as copper is challenging. Due to their properties, copper and copper alloys are materials that can only be processed into high-quality components using special laser systems and adapted process control. The process development and utilization of the potentials and effects of additive manufacturing to increase functional properties are the focus of my research.
