Development of a sensory spindle of machine tools
The focus of this project is the integration of sensors into the work spindle of machine tools. The data gathered in this way can be used for condition monitoring, which opens up new business areas beyond its use for targeted maintenance.
Tools for developing the digital twin
Digital twins are powerful instruments for making statements about the condition of a physical product. It is convenient to develop the digital twin in parallel to the physical product. This procedure is analyzed in a series of studies and a set of standardized procedures and tools is created.
