Use of potential additive manufacturing processes
Additive manufacturing processes enable the production of complex geometries and thus open up new potentials in product development. In order to systematically use this potential during development, new methods are necessary to support the developers.
Selection and design of component connections for additively manufactured components
Additive manufacturing also opens up new possibilities for joining components. In addition, conventional joining methods often reach their limits due to the complex geometries to be joined. Therefore, innovative component connections are necessary, which take into account the potentials and restrictions of additive manufacturing.
Since 01/2022 | Research associate at the Institute of Product Development and Machine Elements |
2018 – 2021 | Master studies in Mechanical and Process Engineering at the TU Darmstadt, topic of the master's thesis: Development of a novel, additively manufactured component connection for the transmission of mechanical loads using the example of a tension rod |
2014 – 2018 | Bachelor studies in Mechanical and Process Engineering at the TU Darmstadt, subject of the Bachelor's thesis: Research on the suitability of additively manufactured parts in direct screw connections |
