Development of self-sufficient modular product families of sensor-integrated machine elements
Digitalization is creating a demand for data that is to be covered by sensor-integrated machine elements in mechanical engineering in the future. In preparation for the flood of variants resulting from the large number of machine elements, measured variables, measuring principles and measuring tasks, modularization methods are being applied to sensor-integrating machine elements.
Special attention is dedicated to the research and integration of technologies that enable energy-autonomous operation and wireless communication in highly interference-prone environments.
