HCP Sense is a spin-off of TU Darmstadt and has been funded by the EXIST Forschungstransfer funding programme since 2021. HCP Sense is developing a load measuring rolling bearing to enable new digital business models. The sensor bearing from HCP Sense offers the possibility to measure acting loads and the lubrication condition of the rolling bearing. The technology of the sensor bearing is based on research at pmd on the electrical properties of rolling bearings.
