Exams and lectures at pmd in the spring and in summer semester 2021

2021/02/25

Dear students,

In view of the TU's decisions regarding exams and lectures in the summer semester, we would like to inform you about the following planning:

Exams in winter semester 2020/2021

  • The oral examinations in the subjects Innovative Machine Elements (IM), Tools and Methods of Product Development (WMPE) and Bearing Technology (WLT) will take place as virtual individual examinations. Mr. Harder (IM), Mr. Steffan (WMPE) and Mr. Neu (WLT) will coordinate the dates for the respective exams.
  • The exam in Machine Elements and Mechatronics II (MM II) in winter semester 2020/21 will take place as a presence examination on 22nd of March in compliance with the applicable hygiene measures. Please inform yourself in good time in which room you will take the exam. Details will be announced in the course of the next few weeks via last year's MM II Moodle course.

Lectures in summer semester 2021

  • The lectures in WMPE and Dimensioning and Optimization of Vehicle Transmissions (DOVT) will be made available digitally one week in advance. During the regular lecture period, the majority of topic-related online lectures will take place. You can get the Zoom links via the corresponding courses in Moodle.
  • The lecture MM II will be held in a hybrid format in the coming semester. On the one hand, the complete recordings of the lectures and lecture hall exercises will be made available to you via the Moodle course of the course one week before the regular date. On the other hand, live lectures and live lecture hall exercises will take place via Zoom on the regular dates in order to provide sufficient space for your questions in the digital format as well. At the beginning of these live events, the most relevant points of the respective lectures and lecture hall exercises will be addressed again (some slides will be hidden, but the content will remain relevant for the exam). During these sessions you will have the opportunity to ask questions. You will receive the Zoom links for this via the Moodle course of MM II.
  • Details on the tutorial Machine Elements in Vehicle Transmissions will be announced in the course of the summer. The tutorial will probably take place again shortly before the start of the winter semester.
  • Please register for all online dates with your clear name.

With best regards and best wishes for a successful start to the examination period and the new semester, stay healthy!
